⌛ Hourglasses: Accelerate Your Progress!
What Are Hourglasses?
Hourglasses are a powerful new currency introduced to help you accelerate your pace on Berk!
- Use them to instantly skip or reduce timers on various tasks.
- Hourglasses come in three forms: -1 hour, -6 hours, and -24 hours.
- Note: Existing options to skip timers using Runes or watching 20-minute speed-up videos remain available.
How to Use Them
- Hourglasses are available in 1-hour, 6-hour, and 24-hour denominations, so use them wisely! You cannot store or collect leftover hours IF you use a larger quantity than is remaining on your timer. The excess time from the Hourglass will be lost.
- When speeding up a timer, select the specific Hourglass type (e.g., -6h), choose the desired quantity, and click the Use button to immediately decrease the timer duration. You can use multiple Hourglasses at once, and mix the three to get to the value you want!
- Or tap the Quick Use Button and the game will automatically optimize the best combination of Hourglasses for the current timer based on your inventory.
Where to Find Them
- Earn them as rewards from Card Packs, the Season Pass, Calendars, and more!
- Purchase them directly within Card Packs available in the Berk Market.

Economy Rebalancing
We’ve made key adjustments to help you expand and accelerate your progress on Berk:
Training & Exploration
- Training Academy Slots: Expand the Berk Academy with 2 additional slots to level up your Dragons faster! These slots can be upgraded using Runes.
- Toothless Explorations: Timers for some early game explorations have been reduced.
Island Expansion
- Obstacle Removal: Some large Trees and Rocks have been replaced with smaller obstacles, reducing the overall cost (Fish/Wood) required to clear them.
- Island Requirements: The Viking Requirement for Frejya’s Field has been lowered to give players access to extra land earlier in the experience.
🔨 Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
- The Collectibles Pack is back in the Odin’s Market!
- Fixed an issue where the Epic Skin was incorrectly appearing on Titan Tidal Dragons.
- Fixed an issue where random timers would appear on card packs in the Berk Market.
- Fixed an issue where the Brawl Medal Icon would appear underneath the Wood display in the Top HUD when viewing the Market.
- Hear the bells – Snoggletog music is returning!
- Added new rewards to Meatlug’s first Journey.
- Fixed misplaced grid on Itchy Armpit and Toebean Islands.
