This update unleashes a new Legendary, the terrifying Red Death, and its volcanic island lair.
We’ve also completely revamped the Mailbox, added 5 exclusive new costumes to mark this milestone, and introduced the live-action Hideous Zippleback.
Of course, we’ve included a host of technical improvements and essential bug fixes to elevate your game.
Finally, this update also brings 3 new challengers to the Brawl Arena: Buffalord, Threadtail and Gresskamor!

Mailbox 2.0
Your Mailbox is now much more efficient and organized with this complete revamp!
Filters and Sorting
- We’ve added filters and sorting options to your Mailbox, making it easier than ever to find the content you need.
Mails Expiration Time
- To address major performance issues caused by a larger number of stored mails on your saves, we have added an expiration time to Reward Mails. This change is essential for a smoother and faster game experience for everyone. Be sure to claim your rewards before they expire!
- Purchased items will have an expiration time of 100 days.
- Rewards from events, card packs, and other sources will expire after 30 days.
- Expiration times for server gifts/announcements will vary.
- Note: On your next launch, all current mails will be given a new expiration time of 100 days.
Announcement Mails
- Announcement and Gift Mails will now be visually distinct from other rewards and will appear at the top of your Mailbox. These mails can be viewed multiple times and will remain in your mailbox until they are deleted or expire.
HUD – Gifts and Expiration Alerts
- You’ll now be notified with a new gift animation when server gifts are available for you to claim.
- Additionally, a new “Expire Soon” banner will alert you when a mail is about to expire.
New Legendary – Red Death (Live Action)
A new island has been spotted south of Berk—a volcanic lair home to the terrifying Red Death!
Red Death Boosts
Acquiring the Red Death also grants you powerful new boosts:
- A permanent 10% discount on Brawl Token Pack timers.
- Activate a boost for Runes to earn Medals with each Brawl victory.
- Medal boost lasts 2h
The Red Death can also search for Raw and Polished Amber.
Small Improvements:
Amber Statues
Baby Dragons and Live Action Dragons of a species are now properly affected by their Dragon Amber Species Statues. This affects the following dragons:
- Baby Meatlug /Live Action Gronckle
- Baby Hookfang /Live Action Monstrous Nightmare
- Baby Stormfly /Live Action Deadly Nadder
- Baby Barf & Belch /Live Action Hideous Zippleback
Dragon Origins
Ever been curious about where a dragon came from? Whether it first appeared in a movie, a series, a comic book, or if it was a Rise of Berk original?
Now, you can find out! Just consult the new Origins section in the Book of Dragons to see where each dragon was first introduced.
Brawl Arena Menu Improvements
We’ve made some updates to the Brawl Arena menu to make it more efficient.
- The menu now scrolls vertically, letting you view more of your dragons in a single Arena.
- The reward sequence for earning Runes in higher Arena ranks has been updated.
- We’ve added a new animation that plays when you unlock a new Arena.

Gresskarmor (Heroic Protector) – Arena 6
- Light Blast – 0 AP: Deals damage to a rival dragon and inflicts Blind.
- Pumpkin Armor – 3 AP: Increases this dragon’s defense for 2 turns and restores health to all ally dragons.
- Iron Tail – 5 AP: Deals damage to all rival dragons and decreases their defense for 2 turns.
Buffalord (Elite Cunning) – Arena 5
- Eruptive Fire – 0 AP: Deals damage to a rival dragon.
- Spiky Puffiness – 3 AP: Deals damage to a rival dragon and increases this dragon’s defense for 2 turns.
- Mystery Saliva – 2 AP: Applies a random positive or negative effect to an ally dragon. (Duration depends on the effect applied.)
Threadtail (Elite Swift) – Arena 4
- Bite Back – 0 AP: Deals damage to a rival dragon.
- Poisoned Charge – 2 AP: Deals damage to a rival dragon and inflicts Poison and Slow for 2 turns.
- Fire Mist – 3 AP: Deals damage to all rival dragons.
Rebalancing:
- Increased chances of getting Polished Amber from Fault Ripper searches.
- Increased Min/Max number of Raw Amber collected from Fault Ripper searches.
- Addressed a mistake in Freeweal’s Iron balancing, causing the dragon to collect the Total Iron in 2 minutes instead of the intended 22 minutes.
Bug Fixes:
Technical
- We’ve resolved the issue causing iOS devices to overheat.
- Improved battery life management on iOS devices.
- Added proper support for Android 15.
General
- Fixed a bug where collectibles could be lost during Early Access Limited Collection Events.
- Corrected the Sawmill and dragon flying sounds, which were playing too fast and repeatedly.
- Resolved a crash that occurred when obtaining the Epic Catastrophic Quaken from the Ascension portal.
- Fixed a crash that happened when accessing the Season Hub from certain menus.
- Fixed the collection menu that would sometimes appear to be cut off, hiding half of a collection.
- Fixed an issue where the “7 Days Gift” offer would not unlock properly after a purchase.
New Known Issues being investigated:
Arena Menu: Menu can sometimes appear empty when scrolling rapidly through Arenas and Rune Ranks. Closing Brawl and relaunching should fix the issue.
